About INCAAS

The International Center for Advanced Research and Applied Science (INCAAS) is a non-governmental organization based in Lima, Peru. It was founded by the Executive Director, Dr. Javier Ponce and the Research and Program Evaluation Director Dr. Kim Hoffman in 2013. Dr. Ponce, a graduate of the Cayetano Heredia Medical School in Lima, Peru, is a faculty member of the Ruiz de Montoya University in Lima, and an affiliated faculty member of the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University. Dr. Kim Hoffman holds a PhD in Urban Studies and has led research related to the evaluation of public health and community-based programs for more than 15 years in a global health setting. Dr. Hoffman is a faculty member in the Oregon Health and Science University and is the coordinator for the U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse Clinical Trials Network Peru Node. Other individuals on INCAAS Board of Directors include Dr. Dennis McCarty, Dr. John Muench, Dr. Richard Wong, and Dr. Jessica Beltran as displayed in the flow chart. INCAAS has various partnerships with Peruvian governmental organizations, independent companies, and global health NGOs that help INCAAS in promoting the health of communities and individuals through program evaluation and research.
